Teacher Grant Program

We know that financial resources are stretched thin in classrooms across the region. CapEd's grant program is an effort to help teachers and students explore additional educational opportunities they might not otherwise enjoy.

Each month during the school year (Oct - Apr), CapEd awards outstanding teachers with grants to pay for programs, materials, field trips, or special projects for the students in their classrooms. $2,250 is awarded monthly, with a $750 maximum per individual grant.

Applications for the 2010-2011 school year will be available on the website and in branch lobbies beginning August 9, 2010. The first application deadline is October 10, 2010.

We're happy to begin our third year with this grant program and hope to continue for many more years. We look forward to receiving all of the teachers' applications again this year. Please apply and be sure to spread the word to your peers, also! Best of luck!
