Teacher Grant Program

Application deadline is the 10th of each month.

Each month during the school year (Oct - Apr), CapEd awards outstanding teachers with grants to pay for programs, materials, special projects, or field trips for the students in their classrooms. Three $750 grants will be awarded each month. We know that financial resources are stretched thin in classrooms across the region. This grant program is an effort to help teachers and students explore additional educational opportunities they might not otherwise enjoy.

During the 2008/2009 school year, CapEd awarded $14,800 in grants to area teachers for use in their classrooms. We are now accepting applications for the 2009/2010 school year.
