CapEd Breaks Ground on New Eagle Branch

CapEd Staff, Architect, and IBG

CapEd (Capital Educators Federal Credit Union) broke ground on their Eagle branch this afternoon at the corner of Eagle Road and State Street, one of the highest traffic intersections in Idaho.

CapEd CEO Todd Erickson, Board Chairman Dr. Larry Neznanski, and new Eagle branch manager Lola White were on hand to turn the first shovels of dirt on the new branch location.

“This is our seventh branch in the Treasure Valley and we believe this location will give our Eagle area members the additional services and convenient proximity to their homes and work that we all look for in a financial institution,” Erickson said.

White has served as the Park Center Branch manager for several years and said she is proud to head up the new branch. She also added “As one of the fastest growing credit unions in Idaho we are always looking at new ways to better serve our members. This branch will provide the services our members need in this community.”

Dr. Neznanski has served as the CapEd Board Chairman for 3 years and is a physics teacher at Bishop Kelly High School. He was just re-elected Chairman at the February Annual Meeting in Boise. CapEd was founded by teachers in the Boise area in 1936 and they are celebrating their 74th Anniversary this year.

CapEd serves over 38,000 members made up of educators, others in the education community, students, and members of their families in 15 southwestern Idaho counties. For more information about CapEd, go to www.CapEdfcu.org
