How Do I Join?
There are three convenient ways to establish membership and open an account at Capital Educators FCU:
Online
Email your request for a membership packet to be mailed to you at your home or school address. Contact us at: members@capedfcu.org
Visit Any of Our Branches
Visit with a New Account Representative at any of our branches (see the contact us page for addresses and directions). They will make opening a Capital Educators account an easy, pleasant experience.
To open an account at an office, you must bring:
- A driver's license or other Government issued identification, including Student IDs.
- Your Social Security Number.
- Cash or a check for at least $5.00 payable to Capital Educators Federal Credit Union.
- Unlike other financial institutions, there is no fee for joining this credit union: nor do you need to make a large deposit to open your account.
Call Us!
If you don't have the time to come into a branch, you can give one of our Member Service Representatives a call at (208) 884-0150 . The Member Service Representative will mail everything you need to open a Capital Educators Account, even a postage-paid return envelope.
To join by mail, you must:
- Complete the Membership card in full, signing where indicated.
- Include a photocopy of your driver's license (or other official picture identification).
- Enclose a check in the amount of at least $5.00 payable to Capital Educators Federal Credit Union.
- Mail the completed Membership Card, photocopy of your ID, and check to:
